Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian actor. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. Fluently speaks French, German and English. Her father, who is a professor of theater at one of Romania's top theater schools, also an instructor in theatre. Awarded an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000 at the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors. The year 2008 saw her named as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She spent four years as an academic of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria Martinca is an Romanian acting born on April 1st, 1978 in Romania's Iasi. Anamaria Marinca - an actress who is of Romanian origin - made her acting debut on screen in Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV film in that Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. Apart from her stellar performance in her debut movie The actress will be remembered for her part of her role in the Romanian movie "4 months 3 weeks 2 days" which won her numerous awards including an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She was in 2007 the lead role in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 zile (4 Months, 3 Weeks 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also part of her career. In 2008, she played Yasim in the BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular in The Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. She later had a prominent role in the 2014 film Fury where she played an German woman known as Irma the aunt of Emma.
