Cristela Alonzo is an American stand-up comic as well as a producer, writer and actress. She is best known for the TV show Cristela which started airing in the year 2014. In doing so she became the first Latina ever to create writing, directing and starring in her own show on television. The career path she took began at Los Angeles after she moved from Texas. The shows she appeared on such as Sons of Anarchy, General Hospital and Sons of Anarchy. She is also a scriptwriter for the TV show Mind of Mencia.
