
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress as well as a media personality and singer. Since 2007 she has been a judge on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent on ITV. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on Monday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old, she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She also was a part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal She starred with Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Along with Alesha Dixon David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
